My 2 children attend this school and i've it to be rewarding for both of them especially the older one. Its important to keep in communication with your child teacher as that would foster a better growth and development for you child future academic years.

I think that there should be more after-school programs for the children. Something should be available to interest all the students. Such as the sports, music and art programs. I think it is completely left up to the parent how much they involve themselves in their childs education. I was fortunate
... Read more enough to have Mrs. Maietta as my sons teacher and I was very happy with her level of communication with me. Although I think my son could have done better academically. He believes he wasn't challenged enough. I think that since we cannot give each child individualized attention, we should at least expect there to be more programs available to pique their interests. I recommend that all parents take the time to volunteer in the school and experience this learning environment by helping a child to learn how to do math, teach them to read, write,or just help out in the lunch room or perhaps other areas. Getting involve with the school will help them to develop a positive relationship with the learning environment Principal, Parent Coordinator, PTA Members,and other staff members. Yet, the PTA chooses to keep the majority of its activiites during the day, in fact, in the early moring. I do not recommend this school to anyone. If you have another choice please choose otherwise. They lost my child on her first day of school (kindergarden)and you have to be careful of teachers that pretend they are professional and then treat your child horribly in class. Advanced Placement
