This is an excellent school. The courses are rigorous. There are a lot of club activities after school. My son enjoys playing Math games and Chess after school. For those students who prefer to have challenges academically, the challenges will be real. The school is tough but tough is love.

Can not say enough about the stellar academics at this school. Teachers stay after school, they are not the first ones out of the parking lot! My son knew he was cared for, spiritually, academically and emotionally. At any time, he could ask a teacher or coach for advice. Best money I have ever spent.

After graduating from Fordham Prep I did not have any problems in college. The workload almost seems easier! The academics are clearly better than average, yet there is much more to this school than the academics. As a life experience it can be absolutely excellent, as it was for me. But, beware, it's not for everyone!

Unlike other upper end Catholic high schools in the New York Metro Area, Fordham Prep is not a trick or a scam. It is probably the best school in the New York area because of a variety of reasons. i love fordham. my son goes there now hes a man he turned from mike to michael. it is like no other school.except regis/xavier it is safe to say that it is the best schol in the tri-state area, although their displine is ver harsh

After I got in, I was basically bound to Regis...or public school. But, then I received a scholarship to Fordham Prep. It was great, unlike Regis or the PS near me, I'd be able to swim in high school. I've loved every minute of it. Fordham's Catholic foundation is loving, not forceful. Values promoted ...  Read more

I am an alumni, and I would recommend Fordham Prep to anyone who will listen. The school is great, the teachers know how to get you interested, the service is fun and wonderful for the community and you meet some friends there that you will have for life.
