I love this school so much ! It's the best high school around , but very hard to get into . If your child isn't average or above average [85+average] , then don't even waste your time applying to this school . One of my children did acceptionally well on the TACHS test , but he had an 80 average and

This school is the best of all High Schools in the Bronx. It is the most well rounded and diverse school. The quality of the education is the that I have seen. This school should cost more than it asks for because in reality there is no other school like this in the Bronx. This school prepares students

Spellman provided a well rounded, disciplined Catholic school eduction. I found a diverse student body with forwarding thinking programs such as TV Production. Most students go on to higher education. Great school spirit and sports teams. It was a hard commute from my part of the Bronx however.

Still is The school to get accepted to. It is amazing that as the ethnicity of the neighborhood changes and the student population does as well, Cardinal Spellman still achieves one of the highest positive outputs in their graduating class.

... Read more maintained. There is a great school spirit and strong alumni participation. Many of the faculty are alumni also. There is a high level of care and concern for the continued growth of the school, well being of the students, and strict enforcement of high academic standards. I have fond memories of my high school days and the exceptional education I received allowed me to have a very successful college and professional career. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
