The teachers are very comfortable with their jobs and have no interest in teaching. senior year was a disaster. Nobody learned anything and the grades were very ...  Read more

As a former student at JFK, I can say that my experience was a great one. The faculty at JFK does a great job preparing students for life after High School. Guidance counselors are extremely helpful in the college application process, and spend a great deal of time individually with students helping ...  Read more

I have no idea why this school is rated so highly. The administration is ridiculous. They are lost on big issue's and cover up things that go on in this school. I've been told their orchestral music program has been lacking in the past years but now has a teacher who is devoted to making it better. There are many clubs and plenty of electives in this school, along with a ...  Read more

Frankly, I am underimpressed with the academic quality and student population at JFK-Bellmore. Having moved to Bellmore from Smithtown in summer 03 I think my son has stepped down a notch in terms of the excellence of the teaching staff and motivation/challenge of assignments. The teachers are under ...  Read more
