It is clear that the Principal is rarely involved in any of the supervision with the teachers and is completely unapproachable. ... Read more how it is run. Teachers seem to get shuffled around each year without any say and not always with great results. The principal may attend meetings and school functions but is not approachable. One of the biggest problems is the fact that the school is often slow to respond on important issues and does not communicate well with parents. Fixing that would probably go a long way. Read less

When teachers are shuffled around so much year after year and are forced into a grade they are unfamiliar with teaching, it is only the children who suffer. When supplying support to children means having another teacher mentor a teacher, there's a HUGE problem. Again, it is our children who suffer. The biggest problem is the administration who controls all and leaves you with nothing, regardless of an open door policy as stated. This school needs help to get what it deserves. Read less

Although Ms. Kunin attends workshops and meetings stating she is open to parent involvement, the attitude you receive upon entering the school shows just how untrue that is. If there are no special needs for your child it's great, but be prepared to fight hard if the opposite is true. And it's too bad, because there are tons of parents that are willing to do a lot for that school. And they, and the kids are being let down. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
