I went to this school, but I also went to a very large city school. I found that this small town school is a good educational place. The teachers work more one on one, which makes school less stressful on everyone and actually makes students learn better. Students don't get away with things as easy as ...  Read more

I was a student at Barker. I felt I received the best possible education there was at the time I went there. Barker might be a small school, but it has the highest quality teachers that have been there for many years. If there is a way you can have your child go there I would highly recommend it.

I am a student at Barker and I feel that the school should offer more choices academically, instead of just the basics. As for the extracurricular there is an assortment of choices, which enhances the school a bit.

I'm actually a student. Barker is an okay school. There is helpful staff and the dress code is restricted. No one really enjoys school, but the activites it offers (i.e. BOCES, Allied Health, and Co-op) give the student choice and more ways of learning.
