Being a parent/stepparent of 5 kids in all, of which our 4 oldest have gone to public schools, I can say from experience, that St Martin's is an excellent school! The teachers have all the same credentials as any public school teacher and they're a pleasure to talk to if you have questions/concerns
... Read more and they respond quickly, unlike public school teachers who can literally take days to respond. My daughter is thriving in this fantastic environment, being the student to teacher ratio is better than any public school plus all the children help one another. I would never even think of sending my Kindergartener on a bus with 8th graders in public school, if that scenario even existed! The older children are very kind and helpful with the younger kids and it's a pleasure to see. Academically, the teachers are excellent and provide a great learning foundation for years to come. St Martin's is a great community based Catholic school. My children in Catholic High School have done very well and my daughter still in SMT is doing great. SMT school is like my second family. The only children who faired well at this school was under the leadership of Sister Maureen Galvin. In the past year, this school has continued to deteriorate in academics. Anyone who currently has their child in this school will fail miserably in real life. My children attended this school until

My kids now attend public school in another state and are actually behind due to the poor quality of education from this school. I have to say that I have 1 child who has been here since nursery school and two other children who attended public school and this year is the first year they are all together in St. Martins and my children are thriving. My two younger children have adapted well and are thrilled to be a part of this

The csmaa is a fantastic addition to the school. I am happy with the choices my older child has been making and hope that she will be very prepared when she gets to high school. Unfortunately, I can not agree with the parents who rave about St. Martin. I found it to have poor academics and if you are not part of the clique, forget about it. Cultural diversity is non existent. So if you have a non european background I suggest you search for another school.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
