Read what parents are saying about St Joseph High SchoolClass of 2026 writing my review of this high school. I am learning and definitely got smarter in math. Saint Joes has put me ahead of my friends classmates. The teachers here can be amazing, while others tend to be below average/worse. Student life is amazing and school pride is serious. Food is good and the school is big. Many activities and events going on throughout the school year. Recommend sending your son here but remember that just because you send your son here doesn't mean he will be successful.

Posted by a community member on 12/21/2015Ehh St. Joe's is okay. I think the thing that irritates me most, besides the tuition, is how mediocre St. Joe's is in spite of its arrogance. For Christ's sake, the motto is "Where excellence is a habit, not a goal." The ego that stems from those words alone infuriates me, especially considering a) how few of its students attend top tier universities, b) the average to below average test scores, c) garbage extracurriculars (so-so math league, lazy and complacent student paper, sports that are usually nothing to write home about, no Future Business Leaders of America, below average Model UN), d) lack of interesting alumni, and e) some of the god awful teachers (some absolutely wonderful though). St. Joe's isn't bad by any means, and I'm not saying one should avoid sending his/her child to St. Joe's like the plague, but don't kid yourself into thinking that doing so is going to singlehandedly make your child's future better. Your son is JUST as likely to become a druggie community college drop-out bum whether he goes to St. Joe's or not. Excellence is NOT a habit here. Lowering our standards until we can relegate our mediocre accomplishment to "excellence" is.

Posted by a parent on 5/17/2013From the moment I started to send my son to St Joes i have felt a sense of comfort. I trust the teachers and staff to provide my son with the best education available. It is well worth the price of tuition. This school has so much to offer your sons.
