... Read more that if she succeeds, so do they. We consider the student expectations for academics and behavior to be high but certainly achievable. My kids feel secure and safe there. Please ask many questions and do some serious investigating before enrolling your student in the Middle School or High School in this district. The elementry schools are wonderful but the Middle and High schools are a whole different ball game. There is not enough money in the budget for things like
... Read more BOOKS. Yes, don't expect that your student will receive one for every class because they won't. Please ask about this. Also, much time is spent on discipline and students are kept out of school during the day and sent to a 3-7 school after one detention. If your child had any type of disipline that required detention in the past be prepared that he or she will miss ALOT of classroom instruction. Read less

The teachers should be made to take control of the situation instead of sending students to the office at the drop of a dime. There are not enough books for each student. I was told that this is because the budget hasn't been approved in years. Books must remain in the classrooms and are shared. I think this school is awesome! The administration desires a positive learning environment seriously, and so they enforce the rules. This sends a clear message to students, and it has created a learning atmosphere that encourages teachers to teach! I think the administration is serious about its job.

Very kind spoken principal. However,some vice principals are not very helpful. Bad Administration(can be very abusive verbally to students). Advanced Placement

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
