I am an educator and have found one of the kindergarten teachers unacceptable and unsympathetic to the needs of children. Osage is supposed to be a multi-cultural school which is in compliance in the AM. However, the PM classes are unequally balanced.

My kids love Osage school. The staff and teachers are so caring. The classes are small enough for the kids to get help when they need. They have so many different activities for the kids to get involved in. They moved here from another district and felt immediately at home.

... Read more allow the children to feel a part of something wonderful while learning more than you could ever imagine. The teachers work closely with the parents and guidance counselor to resolve any issues between the children or any anxiety they may have. The school nurse is incredibly competant.The OPF(parent-faculty group are always coming up with new things for the children to enjoy and to raise money for the school.Other parents with children in other schools can't believe how happy I am with this school. I have passed up opportunities to get a larger home to stay at Osage. Read less

Osage is a fantastic elementary with the perfect blend of all nationalities and cultures. My children love the school/teachers and all they are offered activity wise. Classes exceed expectations and families are free to be involved as much as they wish to be. I would like to see a bit more work put

I have 4 kids in the school and have been very happy. I have been aloud to participate in everything. The school staff has been wonderful whether its the nurse when my kids are sick or the office staff answering yet another question of mine. They always have a smile They make us aware of everything..
... Read more They have made a huge effort to know my by name and who my kids are. the teachers always seem eager to talk to me . The other parents are wonderful and we all seem to no matter what grade get along and work well together. All of the staff are always so positive with the kids and teaching them to have good self esteem. When I have had a problem with let say another student (minor prob. not major) the staff was eager to help me solve my concern. The teachers always have a smile. Any extra help that any of my kids have needed has been supplied whether or not its help with speech or math or reading they have been eager along with the child study team to help. Also helping my oldest cope with the anxiety of some situations. The school has been wonderful... My kids look forward to returning to the school in the fall. Again my kids have made great friends they have had great teachers and so far have made great memories.. that hopefully with last them a lifetime!!!! Read less

Osage is the best elementary school in Voorhees. It is a virtual cornucopia of children from all over the world and a wonderful learning environment. Both of my children attended Osage. I wouldn't have changed elementary schools for anything! I would check out the other neighborhoods before going

Advanced Placement
