My daughter is a senior and I'm only 50% pleased with their program...Most teachers care about student's academic success but there are a few that don't, are hard core, talk down to students, their goal to be as difficult as possible. IHA doesn't offer edline, your daughter constantly will wonder

If your daughter is not an overachiever and athlete, she can get lost in the system, if your daughter struggles with a subject or two they are seen as lazy poor students, which may not be the case. If your daughter contacts teacher for help, usually they are available for review. Guidance - some are a waste/sent out transcripts extremely late. There is a bit of 'mean girl' antics that can go on, but every school has to some extent, I think its worse being in an all girl environment. Always hearing good things about PC, look at the top schools PC kids get into, that says it all, extensive electives,half the cost of IHA/AHA. IHA is not all its cracked up to be, comparison shop, spend the day at all schools.. Read less

Top school, who are you kidding. Out of almost 900 students, not one got into Governor's School for the Sciences. Much smaller Holy Angells in Bergen County had one. Really, you people need to raise your expectations.

IHA is truly one of the best high schools in New Jersey and maybe even the best in Bergen County. The academics at IHA are fantastic, as well as the sports. Immaculate Heart Academy is a fabulous private all girls school. They empower young women so that they can become strong, successful women. The faculty and staff are extremely helpful and caring. It is a great place.

mother went there and so did my sisters and i. I have had two of my daughters go there and now i have a feshman it is a great school and if all young girls could go there the world would be a perfect place because this high school has changed my life and my catholic experience as a woman and a mother.

IHA is the best School in Bergen County. The quality of the education is second to none. Here, girls are expected to achieve and take responsibilities for their own actions. The sports teams are the Best in Bergen, if not the entire State. The school will prepare you well for college. Some former students
