As a parent of 4 children 3 graduated from St Joes and one still in St Joes I have been very very pleased with the education and values my children have learned in their many years spent at there. Two are now in college and are very intelligent, hard working kids with a compassionate heart towards others.
... Read more There are things they receive there that you cannot put a price tag on and that is 'GOD'. I have one child with a learning disability as well that has flourished to be an honor student in high-school and am most thankful for the compassionate teachers he had at St. JOes. As far as the playground my children have had many memories made on recess playground. I have found that when people pay tuitition they want to run the school their way and have more of a say. I am a student at st. Joseph's grade school . I have been there since the 3rd. Grade. All of the students are very welcoming and every teacher is different. The classes are so so. Not to difficult not to easy. I have to say the principal does worry about us but not as much a she should. The best part

Saint Joseph Grade School excelled in teaching excellent moral Catholic values. But I feel that the acedemics were taught overall poorly and the teachers would rather keep the children quiet than teach thm studies. Also, as the tuition is rising, it is becoming extremely hard to possibly afford to send
... Read more chilren there. On top of the almost impossible tuition there are constant fundraising papers being sent home plus the cost of uniforms. Some teachers I felt really strived to give the childeren a good education, others were just looking forward to retirment! I definetly preferred public school. Read less

I have 2 children that attend the grade school and 1 now in the high school. I believe my children have truly been blessed with a amazing group of teachers, administration and fellow students. Overall I would have to say I am very pleased with St. Joes for the most part. I would have to agree with
... Read more the previous comments about the principal though. She does leave a little to be desired. And the fact that the children don't have a playground. But the majority of the staff at this school makes up for a few bad eggs. Read less

Not the best for all families. I have two children, One with a mild learning disability, the other who is in need of no extra help. School is not prepared, nor does it want to deal with learning issues. As a school, the class sizes are too large, and teachers deal with disipline problem children as well
... Read more as teach. Very Hard for them to do their job. Some extrodinary teachers, and some teachers who should not be dealing with children. Principal is too concerned about money and fundraising, can not provide quality when you are concerned with quantity. Improvements have been made on the text books, and curriculum in language and science very strong. Math needs to be improved. Good foreign language program, other specials are available. There is no playground, but space available for children to play. Research before your child attends. Not for all children. Read less

Not very welcoming and friendly to new students. My child brought home fundraisers constantly.Class size was way too large, rigid atmosphere which is great if your child needs that type of environment. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
