I'm a former student 2007 graduate of WTHS and the teachers taught me real well and I've learned alot. I learned many things that can help me with my future and careers and couldn't be any more proud of myself for graduating. This school may be overcrowded and it will keep getting more overcrowded as

Other than that, the academics in this school are excellent thats why I gave it 5 Stars but every high school is going to have its cliques, drugs, fights, and so and so. My child has had many problems with WTHS. The teachers are unwilling to help children with learning problems. They are children themselves. I have dealt with so many teachers that act inappropriate. There is zero communication between departments (i.e.; admin., teachers, nurse, etc.) One hand doesn't

The sports program is horrible, if you are not a stellar athlete or a favorite or even a child of a friend of the coach, forget about getting much play time. The coaches think that they are Pro-Athletes. I have heard of kids failing the drug tests, but since they are good players they were able to continue in the sports programs. What kind of signal is this sending to our children? Not impressed!!! Read less

This school is to large, and it is true that only the students that are at the top of their class are noticed, and nurtured. This school is just too large. It is very easy for kids to get lost in the crowd. Class sizes are much too big. There are some outstanding teachers here; if you could handpick them, your child would receive a top-notch education. Unfortunately, you can't, and there are some very lazy and/or burnt out

There is definitely an anti-intellectual atmosphere at the school; sports are emphasized, not academics. If your kid is a jock, he will probably love it. Teacher salaries are on the low side, which doesn't help quality recruitment or turnover. I had a mold issue in my classroom. The school is pretty dirty in general. Read less

My three children graduated from twp between 2001-2004. They received a good education - a few star teachers, many just collecting a paycheck.
