I have two children in this school both of whom are Honor Roll students one of which is being enrolled in the National Honor Society this year. I go to the school not write letters) Unfortunately most of the parents are not involved this is where the problems come in. My daughter who is an 11th grader this year took the practice SAT this year and scored high. Ultimately it is up to the student as in any high school. Read less

Aug.2006 WHen my familiy moved to Roselle we knew the high schoool had a bad reputation but figured in 8ys the school would improve. Unfortunately, it got worse. Majority of the staff is uncaring. I even emailed the principal to find out activities my son could be a part of because the school website
... Read more was not updated and never got a response. I also called and left several messages with the school administration and again did not receive calls back. My husband and I are patying over $9000 dollars in taxes and my son is not getting the education or is in the type of safe environment that a child should be able to feel safe and learn. If you move here send your child to private school. Read less

The quality of the programs were very good. Though the classes tend to be slightly crowded the teachers did show an interest in the students.

I went to this school for about a year, and i had the best time there. I failed dall my classes, but i had fun. I now live in florida and would do anything to go back.I learned alot in that school, street wise. I miss that school!

I attend this school and for me, I have no problem in this school. I have always been in accelerated classes and always maintained good grades. If a student wants to learn, then they will no matter what. There are clubs for students to join. Even though there aren't that many parents who are involved,

I was a member of Abraham Clark High School and I graduated in 2002. A lot of people say that the school is poor, and as an alumni I can say that it's not the school it's the students. I attended Abraham Clark and received a 4.0 GPA (jr year), was a member of the Poetry workshop, and Graphic Arts Program.
... Read more Nevertheless, received the National Honor Roll Award (given to 4.5% H.S. students in the nation) and Who's Who Among High School Students (given to 3.5% H.S. students in the nation). I also went to college one year early at Johnson & Wales University and majored in Website Development just because I hated to be around the students in the school. My mother, my aunts, my uncles, my sisters, and I have all graduated from this school.The school has changed for the worse. The staff (administration) is not focused on our children's education or safety. The teachers come and go,because they fear for their safety as well.The school is 97% Afro-American

If you want your children to be successful, this is not the school for your family. Their are about 30 to 35 students per class. The information on this web site should be updated by facts. That is because you have teachers that do not care, and the remainder of the staff hide behind close doors. My child attended 8th Grade at this school. It is clearly a failing school. The parents are apathetic, the teachers don't care, the administration is probably one of the worst in the State. As for the children, many are wandering aimlessly with no direction. My child no longer attends this school.

Advanced Placement
