The academics, athletic programs, and extracurriculars at Princeton High School as a package can not be beaten. The best teachers here are extraordinarily dedicated, especially in the Science, History, and English departments. Even the teachers some students complain about would be among the best in
... Read more other schools in the area. As a whole the athletic department is strong, albeit more focused on some sports rather than others (soccer and lacrosse are very big-time here). The weight room is huge and excellent. The school spends untold amounts on programs for music and the arts, and it shows. Year after year our bands and choirs rank at the very top nationally and travel abroad to Europe and China. Both theatre productions were honestly professional quality. The guidance department here is absolutely fantastic, never failing to send less than thirty students a year to Ivy and Ivy level universities. Some issues I have with the school include the disagreeable principal and a good amount of substance abuse. There are students with a lot of money, so drugs are always around. I've been successful in avoiding them by sticking with my close friends. This is overall and accepting place. Read less

This school has achieved academic excellence in and out of the classroom. Our average SAT score is 1850. Homecoming and the dances are disgusting not because of the admin but because of the students. Some departments are bigger and better than others. English, Math, and Science seem to stand out. Teachers are hit or miss. Most of the time you get a great teacher who spurs on your academic success. The facilities are great. There are so many opportunities as in electives and extracurricular activities. You just have to take it and go with it. As a sophomore, I feel challenged and satisfied with PHS's education. What I love most about my school is that there's always something for everyone. We have amazing academics, but unlike some other schools in the district, we have a smaller and more connected student body. If you go to PHS or any surrounding schools you'll know what i mean. In Princeton you can always find someone from everywhere. There are well over 30 clubs and also a variety of school sports. Our choir and band are among the top in the nation. The school is conveniently located near town. Princeton has a lovely suburban feel with the perks of a small city. Everything is in walking distance, which is very convenient for a high school student. I would say that I thoroughly enjoy attending Princeton High School and living in Princeton. Read less

Princeton High School has endless opportunities and great teachers. The academics emphasize analysis rather than simple memorization so students learn to become thinkers. The diversity, in every sense of the word, only enriches the learning environment. The music, arts, other extracurriculars are
