... Read more this school are very well mannered. One time I was dropping off the kids, a 3rd grader held the door for us and insisted we go first. I interviewed and visited many private and public schools and chose Holy Spirit because of their customization approach to teaching and how nicely they treat the kids, parents, and each other. I also visited IHM in Wayne but witnessed the principle screaming at the student and found the staff to be quite rude and snooty. The principle of IHM couldn't even spare 10 minutes to talk to me, no teacher was available for me to talk to and I was asked to speak with the secretary. Really?! Since adults in school serve as mentors and role models for our children, It was important to me to find teachers, staff, and principle who are not only great educators but also teach by example. Good school if your child is kind of slow. It is the school where kids who can't make it at IHM go. Then again IHM is a Nationa Blue Ribbon School. In the Wayne area it is number two. Much Better than Mother Seton, which was formed by combining 2 failed schools.

I think the Pre-K programs are the most comprehensive ones in the area and would mimic most kindergarten environments. Lots of learning and extras that make the experience A+. AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
