I went to St. Thomas and transitioning to high school was probably the worst experience of my life due to the small amount of kids there..you get just as good of an education in public school as you would in catholic school, it's a waste of money. in the younger grades there might be less exposure to

My 3rd-grader has attended St. Thomas since 1st grade and our family is very happy with the overall school experience. Our principal is loving yet authoritative, and knows each child by name! I would like to see more extra-curricular activities and a playground for the kids, but those 'complaints'

... Read more keeps everything in line and welcomes you to talk anytime. There is a chorus to join and a band. We offer an art club for the children and many plays go on during the year. I sent my children to this school, and I still feel guilty. Humiliation is often used as a form of 'motivation', particularly in the upper grades. My son, now a senior in high school had a stomachache or other illness everyday because he did not want to go to school. Over four year at high school
... Read more he has missed only a handful of days. My daughter was afraid to talk aloud in high school for fear the teacher would make fun of her if her answer was incorrect. I just wanted to add that the school is peanut free but not because of 1 student with an allergy. There happens to be several children with deadly allergies to peanuts. Advanced Placement
