Renaissance is the best middle school in Montclair. Not only are the frequent field incredibly, but the teachers are outstanding!! Renaissance and the teachers encourages individuality. They constantly challenge kids, and make interesting lessons! My kids enjoy waking up in the morning to go to school!

this school is truly a gem in Montclair. The kids are motivated, excited and engaged about the school and, more importantly, learning. Principal is great, teachers are caring. My older nor went to mt. Hebron and had a less than mediocre experience, which did not prepare her for the high school. Not

Renaissance is wonderful, the learning is great and the only drawback is that there are no advanced classes and the fact that you learn from others makes up for that. BRAVO!

My son attended this school and he loved it and he loved the teachers. Mr. G, as they call him had tears in his eyes when the class of 2004 left. My son received A's and B'a for the first time for three years because the teachers were there for the kids and really did their jobs to teach them. Glenfield

The teachers are great! The students respect them, and they joke around. But, when its time to get work done that's what they do. The music and art program is avergae. It has sports teams, and clubs. Parental involvement can be minimal or maximum.
