My daughter attended Kindergarten here last year. We were going to put her in a private school but decided to try Shaner. We were pleasantly surprised! ... Read more to see that you can still have good old fashioned fun in learning. She even sent home a CD of all of the memories for each child. The principal is passionate about his school. He has young children himself and was a teacher at this school at one time. He cares about your input and more importantly our children. There were many opportunities for the parents to be involved and visit the school to see their children. What a blessing. As with any school there is room for improvement, if I were to pick one thing it would be technology but maybe we already have enough of that in this day and age. A good old fashioned learning experience can be a wonderful thing. Read less

We've been very pleased with Shaner school for the past two years - my daughter was in Pre K last year and now is in Kindergarten. Staff is courteous, friendly and puts the needs of the children first. My son will be starting Pre K this fall - my only disappointment is that busing is no longer offered

This is an excellent school. The principal , teachers and other support staff take very good care of all the students as if they were their own. Kudos to the Principal for managing a school with so many kids.

My son absolutely loves this school and his teachers. He is in kindergarten, and is adhd..the school since day one has worked with him as well as our family. They call with concerns or with updates and praises. This is first time my son has not been pushed aside because of his disability. He is treated

I love Shaner School system. My son was reading in kindergarten. The teachers are grea, the school is clean. The Children learn so much in 1st grade too:)

Large school serving hundreds of children. Parking/busing is a constant concern. Planning of programs for children with special needs is difficult. CST prefers to fit child into pre-existing programs rather than looking at needs of the child. Arts and music not a big focus for the school. Parents are

my son attended this school frome pre k to 1st grade. the teachers are caring and kind. Shaner has a wonder program for special needs students. My son had speech therapy, And ocupational therapy.The teachers are excellent in dealing with children that have focusing problems.
