I think this shool is ok. I am a senior but I was never as crazy about this school. It is defenitly a good school but not great. People who want to go here it may be a long trip and a lot of work but it should be worth it.

As a student at Freehold Boro, it is hard to describe the school. The atmosphere is so encouraging to me as a student; the teachers are willing to help me explore my interests and the students, the same. Every is laid-back and accepting, there is little to no pressure placed on others to fit in with the lastest designer handbag. The school pride is unbelievable and its easy to see why. FBHS is an amazing school. The Faculty Is extreemly receptive to student needs, the teaching meathods work, and the atmosphere is friendly and constructive. If only they turned off the heat in the spring... haha, students know what I am talking about! it is a brick oven in there!

Freehold High School is not only the best school in the Freehold Regional High School District, it is also one of the top schools in the state. I attend high school at FHS and could not imagine attending anywhere else. The faculy of FHS is truly dedicated to their students and teaching them important
... Read more life lessons, not just the stuff in the textbooks. The school's excellent leadership is reflected in the determination of the faculty to make FHS the best school. I have heard many teachers who come to FHS from other schools saying they are so glad to be there. Also, teachers who are transferred to other schools is the district miss FHS after they are gone. The students, teachers, and adminstration all share a unique pride in the school's athletics, academics, and extra-curricular achievements. There is something intangible about attending FHS that cannot be replicated anywhere else. Read less

i'm currenly attending Freehold H.S and in the Medical Sciences program, although the rankings of this school is not high, this is one of the only public school in nj who offer AP classes to selected freshmen students. I personally think this school is more challenging than Allied Health (rated #1),

Read more know longer have that student in their class.It is a very relaxed enviornment where respect and reponsibility are the most important lessons taught from day one.I was very suprised by the social atmosphere at the high school, in most schools today there are obvious cliques and popularity is the main focus but at 'The Boro' all the students are very accepting of one another and are concerened with popularity.Also the school spirit is overwhelming. The students are constantly displaying their 'Boro Pride'.The students have been taught to respect themselves, others and their school and because of that they all become very involved in the school. I am very pleased that my children are spending their most important years in a high school where the importance of education is stressed by teachers who love reaching out and clearly enjoy their jobs.My kids will walk away with not only the understanding of algebraic equations and the ability to interpret shakespeare, but the ability to accept others for who they are and the passion to further their academic knowledge. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
