The rules are absolutly ridiculous, and no other high school is as crazy as MO. They make everyting a federal case in this school. I do not reccomend sending your child to this school. Excellent school. I came to college extremely prepared, much, much more so than most of my college classmates. Very strong, especially in the History and Language Arts departments. I started at one of the Academies, which was awful, came back, and had a great time.

I actually enjoy Mt. Olive. It is a lot nicer compared ot other schools and is even better with our new renovation. My teachers and friends are all great. MORT has been a great part of my life at the school and so has band.

I love Mt. Olive after the referendum! The principal and teachers a great. Student activities are also amazing. Some of the best programs are the Mount Olive Robotics team in which 2 of my children participated and are now at Cornell and Johns Hopkins and also the band is very good to get involved in.

Some of the students have taken the challenge to problem-solve, create, conceive, program, build, etc. a robot to accomplish a specific task in 6 weeks to compete world wide! * In 2007-2008 New Jersey used the High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) to test students in grade 11 in language arts literacy, math and science. The HSPA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of New Jersey. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
