I think that the academic programs are great because it's challenging but fun too. this is also a great school because there are lots of opportunities for activities. there is enough parent involvement. HHMS is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this is a pretty good school...threre are many opprotunities and i have taken up many of them...i think the teachers are great...

Students are challenged very much by the interesting teaching techniques used here. Group work is a big part of the studnets day and the ability to work with others in their grade is very useful when they move on to high school.

The school is reasonable for lower to above avg students. However, it has a limited opportunities for students in the upper tier. School does offer honors classes for some subjects. However, number of enrichment clubs is limited. The principal is very new and bit hesitant to take on new initiatives.

It depends on how you look at Hoover. Sometimes it's bad, like the way the students behave towards the staff because of the overuse of discipline and punishment, but it's also good because of all the different choices a student can make to do what they want, like art, band, chorus, tech ed, home ec, ...  Read more

A majority of the teachers are very caring and helpful. It's the kids who are the problem-fights on campus every day, ethnic taunting, etc. Parent involvement is minimal.
