I graduated from this High school and I have to say that it was the most unproductive four years of my life. WMCHS is just OK in every way. Son graduated last year, and daughter is sophomore. Basic academics are fine, AP and IB included. However, drama and art programs uninspiring. Sports and clubs standard. Elective offerings still in the 1950's (i.e. drawing, creative writing, cooking, yearbook) Students

All academic classes and most elective classes are year long which also does not allow students the opportunity to learn from a variety of teacher styles. A student is stuck in the same schedule for one very long and boring school year. Very few social offerings as well; dances are few and far between, no parades, no festivals, no big pep rallies, no spirit days. You get the picture. The nurses are excellent and guidance dept. variable. Safe, fine, just OK. Read less
