The staff, with their energetic new principal definitely were not just sunning themselves at the beach during this past summer. Many great initiatives were shared ...  Read more

I went to Burling city schools my entire life. Graduating in 2008 I went to one of the top rated public colleges in the country and was sorely dissapointed at the lack of diversity and chartacter I recieved from burlington. I worked hard and played varsity sports and was highly involved in the music ...  Read more

This school is seriously lacking in academics. I have hired 4 graduates to work for my company and none of them can spell, write a correct sentence, or do simple math (even on a calculator). The students obviously do not learn the skills to go out into the world. How do you write a college essay if you ...  Read more

If this school does not hire 'Freedom Writer' style of teachers who have passion and don't quit or exchange ugly for ugly ...  Read more

My junior daughter takes AP courses, plays two varsity sports and scored highly on the SATs. I have no worries about her in college. My 7th grade son has trouble due to his current immaturity. The school expects a lot and has a tendency to write off poor achievers, so it's our job to help him. Fine. ...  Read more

I was a former student and now a parent to an 11th grade student. School have not change over the last 20 years, still the same. Classes are dull and teachers don't care. The only thing going for the school is the Matching Band with Director David May. Stay away from this school or prepare to play ...  Read more

Much better school than statistics show. Competitive extra curricular activities and a wide range of classes offered compared to other group 1 schools.
