This school is not as bad as people make it sound. Kids like to complain its what they do, so going on the fact that your son or daughter says it 'boring' is not exactly an objective veiw. Being late to lunch can get you a detention depending on the mood of whatever teacher walks by, teacher can also be a little trigger happy with their detention slips. In my own personal experience, the teachers that work there are phenominal and are willing to work with the students to help them acheive their academic goals as well as be there for them if they just need some one to talk to. The work was challengin, but not overwhelming and accurately prepared me for my college career. The principal is one of the best I have met. So when they applied to the colleges they then realized they were never given the correct classes so all their dreams went down their tubes which I think was just terrible because what they wanted to do inthe the future was NOW Gone! It would be slightly decent if there upperclassmen were given options to take more languages then spanish, french and italian. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
