Rising Star Christian Academy

The school is excellent! The 1-star rating was from a parent who was banned from the school due to her behavior....my child and I had an extremely positive experience at the school. The director, her family, and staff are superb.

I love, love, love Rising Star Christian Academy. I am the Director, but my 3 sons all graduated from Rising Star Christian Academy. They had no problems being accepted into the schools of their choice, as a matter of fact, they had wonderful offers from several schools like: Southeastern Theological Baptist Seminary, Barton University, Chowan University, Mars Hill University, William Peace University, Campbell University, etc. We strive to teach our students from infants to high schoolers about the love of Jesus and how the Word of God instructs us to live our lives. Our 3rd-12th grade students love doing community outreach such as: making infinity scarves to pass out to the homeless, take coffee to the homeless, assisted living partnerships, etc. Also, we have a strong extracurricular program for our students. Academics, 4-H Clubs, and P.E. are the focus Monday through Thursday, and each Friday, our students enjoy cycling, golf, tennis, pickleball, and more through our local partnerships with Brevofield Golf, Pascal Golf, The First Tee Golf, Millbrook Exchange Tennis, Flaherty Park tennis and pickleball, and greenway cycling made possible by ReCYCLEry NC donating bikes to our students. We bring in outside resources for our younger students such as: Wake County Bookmobile, Wake Forest Fire Department, Wake Forest Polic Department, dentists, optometrists, The First Tee golf, and many more resources for their growth and enjoyment. The curriculum for all of our students is faith-based and interactive. We strive to understand the learning style of each child and encourage them to grow from where they are. We encourage each student to trust God and trust who they are in Christ Jesus.As you know, some people are unreasonable and may post negative reviews out of anger, but come and check us out for yourself. We are confident you will love what God is doing here through our staff, students, and volunteers.

Faith based school with very caring staff. My son has been attending for years and loves it there. We love the family orientated environment.

Does not do the activities that they say they are doing. Director very defensive and doesn't try to communicate with parents effectively.
