Read what parents are saying about Rejoice Community School of Wake ForestI went to this school for 1 year and had horrible experiences. One thing is they lost me in a park. Second thing is my teacher when we where doing a play called me an eiddet and would send me to the accounting lady to do math because im an ec child and they thought that was the right thing to do. They teach all the middle schoolers at a 6th grade level no matter what grade 7th or 8th. They would send me to what they called iss because I did not fit in class. They do not handle their money well at ALL. I would stay far far away from this school.
Posted by a student on 4/14/2015Fantastic opportunities for the students. Very small class size. Now that they have found a location on Lois Lane it looks like a more stable environment with room for growth. My daughter will graduate from Rejoice! and has gained the confidence she lacked before enrolling her there. The dance and drama ministry teams give students the opportunity to give back to the community. Worth every penny spent on tuition, especially since the after-school programs are mostly included in the cost!
Posted by a parent on 1/17/2015This school is not at 3211 Rogers Road Wake Forest. It's currently located at a church. Always check to be sure schools are properly registered with the state of NC through the NC Department of NonPublic Education with the right name and address etc. to avoid issues transitioning to other schools or back to the public school system.
Posted by a parent on 10/14/2014I have been at RCS for a few years. It is the best school I have ever attended. My teachers care about my grades and my choices in and out of school. Not only have I made great friends, but what feels like a great family. I love how every one knows every one, no matter the age difference. This school is a blessing. I would be scared to see myself without this school!
Posted by a student on 7/8/2014We are very thankful for Rejoice Community School of Wake Forest. Our daughter is thriving in an environment that is Christ-centered. All of the teachers are great role models and the administrator goes beyond the call of duty to help mold the young people. This is not your typical Christian school. The staff accepts each student for who he is. Students don't have to fit into a "mold." We love RCS!!!

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience with this school has been horrible! My daughter has been going to this school since preschool up till third grade. I had to remove my daughter from the school after so many poor communication problems with 3 of the teachers and the head principal who seem to only care about her image as the principal rather than the concerns of the students and parents. Based on the horrible advice and several different conversations about my daughter’s tragic experiences I’ve had with the main principal. I realize I was getting nowhere in hopes of A change. My daughter would come home almost every day complaining about how she was being bullied and treated unfairly at that school.Parent Review2mo ago - Heritage Elementary

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis was our first year at Forest pines drive elementary. And I can honestly say my daughter has flourished. Everyone from the front office, to her teacher, support staff and even the custodians genuinely care about these children and engage with the parents. I highly recommend if you live in this area that you would be blessed with being able to be zoned for the school.Parent Review11mo ago - North Forest Pines Elementary

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been a part of CASA since his kindergarten days, and he is currently in the third grade. I made the choice to enroll him in this school because he is an incredibly high-energy child, and I was drawn to the idea of him being able to progress through his schoolwork at his own pace, rather than everyone adhering to a fixed lesson plan.My son faced some challenges in reading, particularly during his second-grade year. However, his teacher was incredibly proactive in addressing this. Before I even had a chance to express my concerns, she had already placed him in an additional reading group and provided one-on-one support to help him catch up to grade level.Every day, my son comes home excitedly recounting his favorite moments from school, often highlighting the "great lesson" he had that day, like the one about volcanoes. His enthusiasm for learning is truly nurtured at CASA, and he genuinely loves attending this school. One aspect of CASA that I deeply appreciate is that the teachers do not micromanage the students. Instead, they empower them to be self-sufficient and take responsibility for their own work. This approach is invaluable in teaching our children important life skills and values. In my opinion, CASA is providing a valuable service by instilling these essential morals and values in today's youth. I am grateful for the positive impact it has had on my son's education and personal development.Parent Review7mo ago - St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School

In our experience there has been judgement, discrimination and lack of sympathy/empathy. They have a red point green point system. Students with ADHD do not always “hear” when a teacher asks for something to be done. I wish teachers and leadership underwent training on how to support children to succeed with ADHD. From what we have witnessed with that, I can only imagine families with children who have learning disabilities must feel.Parent Review2mo ago
