Read what parents are saying about Philips AcademyFrom the outside, the reviews make it seem like it is a good school, but on the inside it is a whole different story. They treat the children poorly, have bad food, they don't communicate, most kids are violent, and my son came home with a bag of some weird substance one day! 0/10

Posted by a parent on 11/17/2017Our daughter has a rare genetic disorder which CMS was neither willing to understand nor accommodate. Philip's Academy goes above and beyond to help our daughter succeed. We can't be more thankful to be a part of it!
Posted by a parent on 1/28/2016Philips academy is wonderful. My child is so happy to go to school each day. The children all really care about each other. The staff has the perfect balance of compassion and discipline. The teachers are beyond terrific, they truly love what they do. My child is learning how to succeed in the real world, learning real life skills. There is no other school like Philips in Charlotte or the surrounding area.

The staff, and small size has allowed him a big opportunity for success. We moved from SC to Charlotte, NC so he go attend this wonderful school.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot say enough good things about Rama Road. My 3rd grader had an amazing experience. Rama handles its Title 1 money so well--she had access to lots of opportunities in the community. She had access to the talent development program from day 1,and the 3rd grade team is fantastic. At every school event, the entire school community (kids with disabilities, diverse families) were represented and celebrated. My daughter made tons of growth here, and I see them differentiating instruction for the needs of every student.
