This school is wonderful, we have had four children attend this school and it is by far my most favorite! The staff, for the most part is stellar, my only complaint is the office staff seems unapproachable or stand-offish. The 2009/10 school year will be the last year for our youngest child to attend,

My review of the two years my son spent at JCT is that this school is very poor in Prinicple leadership, teacher quaility, extra curricular activities, parental involvement. In general when I think of Beaufort County Schools and the 3 yrs I have been associated with it...it is like a maze. There in no

I have two children attending John Cotten Tayloe and I couldn't be happier. What makes it a great school? My children are covering a lot of material and they are enjoying it too. The teachers are all on the same page. Parents get involved. To walk the halls is to see a bright and cheery place, though the facility has some age on it. My children are happy each day when they come home and I am amazed at the ways their teachers are getting them excited about learning. Art, music, PE, computer lab, accelerated math, this school has it all. Read less
