I have been working as a teacher at Union for several years. I am very excited about my own children attending this school. I can't imagine they could receive a better education anywhere else! The atmosphere at Union is warm and friendly; we are all like family here! It is a wonderful place to work

I find Union to be a wonderful school. I have two issues that I am concerned with though. The security is lacking at this school. Whenever there is an awards program, many will go to the office to check in, but many just walk on to campus. I see children walking around with no supervision, and that worries
... Read more me that one could get grabbed and no one would know. Also, this week there has been a book fair. In itself, that is good. The only problem is that most of the items available are high priced. I know there are many kids that would like to get something from the book fair, but prices make it out of their reach. It would seem to me in the current financial situation, that there would be some other way to make items available at lower prices. Read less

Our child is under a IEP and this is his first year with Union. We are so pleased with his progress. He is a very nervous child who does not adapt to new environments and change well. The staff at Union has been fantastic at making him feel cared for. I am writing this the day after Christmas vacation

Now that one of my children has been to Union Elementary and moved on to the middle school, I have realized even more so that this is an excellent school!! I still have one more at Union and I plan to enjoy every minute of it!!

I am so pleased with the reading ability that my child has learned from her teacher Donna Smith. She is in first grade and by her teachers words she has realized that the sky is the limit for learning! Union is a great school and my child looks forward to going everyday..

I am a 'grandparent' of a student in second grade and she is in Ms. Lewis's class. I had a chance to meet this teacher, and she is wonderful. She seems to have a great rapport with the students and her personality is exceptional.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
