Im a proud parent and i am sick of the principals just handing out discibline referrals like it nothing. And half the time its for nothing like 2 days iss for chewing gum or talking i understand if they did it stilll after you warned them 2 or more times but just then is wrong. the principals and teachers
... Read more need to get their act to gather and start talking about thing than trying to get the child out of there office or room as fast as they can. I say this because they do not understand that their little gruge has cost my sons future b/c everything go's on his or her records. Read less

I have to agree with the below comments, my child has attended this school for 2 years, and I have to say it is a poor excuse for education. The teachers do not communicate with parents on child's progress or issues they may be having. You cant even get them to email let alone call even when you request
... Read more information. The students are out of control, there is no authority. They only pay attention to students that score high on test otherwise you child is not a concern. None of the staff is responsive to include principal. I just had a serious incident occur there with my child their main concern was saving face, I was not informed of the outcome of the problem like I was told I would be. If you have a choice I recommend you do not have your children attend any hoke county school system. Read less

This has been the worst school any of my 3 children have attended. Some of the staff are not helpful to the point of rude, teachers do not contact parents when messages are left for them and I was not impressed with the principal when I had a conversation about my child, nor did she get back to me like

I had to drive him to school for when they returned from summer break because no bus came for him, I went to the Open house prior to school started, signed him up and no bus for a week (he had been picked up the previous year). I think this school is not a good school the teachers always yell at the students and treat the kids like they are 4 years old i think the teachers and staff at east hoke need to grow up and treat us as students better and maybe we would not be as bad, kids usally be bad becasue they want the teacher

It appears there is a strict code of conduct for the pupils but none for the teachers. Students must respect teachers, as it should be, but teachers don't respect the students and don't listen to them. AG students are expected to know more and it appears teachers are less willing to help them when

As a teacher I am considering leaving the county to teach elsewhere to remove my child from this school. This school is not one I would recommend. My child is an honor student and tends to not cause trouble. This school has ruined his self esteem and has had nothing but a negative impact on him and

Advanced Placement
