I must also say that I did have an issue that I had to take to the staff concerning another student and that situation was address immediately and appropriately. I could not imagine my daughter in any other school. She is very advanced socially and academically thanks in great part to staff of Old Fort Elementary School. I have a son at Old Fort Elementary. He has had nothing but success from there. Currently, he is reading on a higher grade level and his math skills are the same. His teachers are nothing but supportive of that and challenge him everyday to ensure he remains occupied and does'nt get bored with the
... Read more daily activities. I'm very proud of the way Old Fort backs their kids 100% and takes care of needs, cares and concerns that come up along the way. Also, I want to say 'hats off!' to the Afterschool program. Ms. Debbie and her staff do a wonderful job with the children. Read less

My child went there for 2 years, and Both k-1 were not good experiences for her, when she started out she was very excited but after a short time, the teachers were not encouraging, did not spend the time to help her in things she didnt know,Instead embarrased her in from of her classmates for not knowing

Read more some answers, She also attended the after school program and their was rarely enough supervision,(EX:If a child had to go to the restroom while they were outside they would send them with another classmate across the parking lot and into the school( which was open to the public for community GED classes) many times when going yo the school their would be a child wondering unsupervised,When we moved to another state she had just passed to the 2nd grade,but when tested for placement, she was so far behind she ended up repeating the 1st grade Read less

Advanced Placement
