We love KES! The staff, new administration and students are wonderful. It truly is an excellent school that has just had some recent unfortunate events that have more to do with individuals than the school as a whole. My children have received a wonderful education and both receive AG services which

I would like to see the PTA improve and do more to get all parents involved instead of a select few. But overall, very happy with my daughters' experience and looking forward to the new year. I really liked my children's time at KES. We have always had excellent teachers and to me the children's needs seem to be the most important focus. They try to do fun events for the kids where the whole family can participate. They are always trying to better the school with construction and programs.

This is an aweful school. My child is in Kindergarten and if it wasn't for her teacher being so amazing I would have pulled her out a long time ago. This is our first and last year at KES. I agree with previous posters - the front office staff is RUDE!! The lady at the front needs to find a job she likes.

KES is definitely one of those 'needs improvement' schools. I agree with previous posters - the front office staff can be rude and disrespectful. The PTA is rude, ill-tempered and all-around a joke - all fund-raising and no one knows where it has gone. Until I contacted the superintendent, I was discouraged

He comes home complaining of being bored, then gets labeled as a discipline problem. My challenge to all other parents who think that this school is out of order is to do what we can to make it better. Let's join the PTA and change this school for the better. In the end, the kids are the ones who will suffer. Read less

This is my son's first year at KES. He's in 2nd grade. His teacher seems to be genuinely concerned about the well being of all students in the class and keeps me informed via emails, phone calls, and notes. I cannot really speak on the quality of the teachers as a whole since I've only have experience

What bothers me about KES is that I am not able to visit my son's classroom unannounced. I think it is important to be able to 'pull checks' on your child without the child's knowledge. Children will normally behave better when they are expecting you to show up! Read less

If your child isn't the 'normal', 'average' kid, very little efforts are made to educate them differently unless you fight for it.
