FCA has been through many changes over the last couple of years (growing pains). This said, the teachers and the church elders have remained to support their students and one of their most adored teachers will be a great principal/counselor for this aspiring school. The students have respect and love

The 'arts' have been a wonderful asset to the school, the music and dance teachers are talented and put on quite the show. If your thinking about FCA, I suggest that you talk to Ms. Cantrell (K teacher), who has been there the longest and can tell you first hand of the growth of the school and why being at FCA is so important to her to which has made her another beloved teacher. My experiences with the academy thus far have been wonderful. I am pleased with the passion the teachers and Mr. Ross have for the school. My daughter is a happy and proud student who takes comfort in knowing that she can openly discuss and turn to her faith while at school. I hope to see the

Mr. Ross has certainly made a huge improvement in the quality of this school. I give him a 100% rating in his fair, but swift & strict disciplinary actions.

My child has attended FCA for five years. I have met parents of several former students who transitioned to public schools (for financial reasons) and all but one said their child was ahead of those kids when they started. The other child had a learning difference and was struggling in public school

Of course he learns all of the required subjects as well. With smaller class size, great teachers and a committed principal and staff, this school has been a wonderful experience. And the new high school will make a transition unneeded. I'm sorry one parent was unhappy with their experience. The issues they raised are found elsewhere too. The good of this school far outweighs any negative I can think of! Read less

Both of my children go to FCA; one has been there for 6 years now, the other 2 years. Both love it and have grown in their knowledge/love of Christ and that is so worth everything. I had a hard time when my youngest was in Kindergarten, deciding if private school was the right way to go. One day after

I agree with all. THe negative comments are before the new principal Mr. Ross came to the school. Mr. Ross is young and has children of his own. His visions are grand and he puts forth 100%. His teachers have been revived by his new ways. He lets them strive, he doesn't let them get snuffed out.

From a parent who did not have a child in 3rd grade at last year, the 3rd grade put on a marvelous program where children dressed as their favorite historical person while speaking of their character as if you were in a faux-wax museum. They also have a new secretary and new plans have been implemented to make it easier on families. Read less

I seriously beg to differ with some of the comments made. The teacher to student ratio is much better at this school than you would find at a public school. The lack of availability of foreign language is due to the fact that nobody wants to be a foreign language teacher anymore. Yes, there is only

This school more than prepares its students for a public school transition. Each of the students are performing at a level that is much higher than the state requires. This is also the only private school in the area that requires its teachers to be state certified. If you take the time to do your research, you will find that this is an exceptional school.
