Westchester is a great place for anyone. Unlike the other area private school, WCDS has a 100% college placement to four year universities...not community college. Last year I was a new kid, and my parents wanted me to go to a school that had better academics than my previous school. Although overall the academics were okay, the private school I go to now is so much better. It is a Christian school, and I am learning a lot more and don't dread going to school.

I wasn't as welcomed as I expected, and I wasn't as rich as everyone else. Westchester is a good school if it appeals to your needs, but it didn't fit mine. They call themselves the only college prep school but i go to a 'college prep' school in the same city. Read less

We took our teenage daughter out of Guilford County Schools because they are poorly run and frequently redistricted. She was received well by the students in her class and has continued to prosper with the small class sizes. The teachers here are not saddled with discipline issues and have more time

... Read more one feels is unfound in any other school around. From my experiences over the years, I have come to acknowledge the amazing staff and faculty Westchester provides. Every student has ample facilities available to them to ensure they get whatever information they need, alongside the help of their teachers whenever necessary. Altogether, Westchester has provided a foundation for me to grow up on, as well as an environment that has helped shape me for the better. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
