I enrolled my child and have since made the decision to withdraw him after one year. The children that attend and the atmosphere made it an easy transition. The teaching staff was a great concern, some of the in class comments were unaccepatble. As a parent of color with a child of color this was

The curriculum is affiliated with a university that would have made my decision for me (had I been informed of the affiliation prior to his enrollment) not to enroll him. The school is faith-based but is extreme (in my opinion) in it's teachings. The curriculum is one that I would expect from the 1950's in regard to a multicultural perspective. I would not recommend enrolling a child in this school unless you are a current church member who already understands the philosophy and limits. Read less

We enrolled our daughter at Trinity Christian School at the beginning of the first grade. Upon enrollment at TCS we immediately saw an improvement in our childs interest in school. We also found that the year she spent idle in public school waiting on others to 'catch up' literally placed her behind
... Read more the students at TCS. She worked hard, caught up, and is continually challenged by her teachers as well as the ciriculum of TCS. She is now in the third grade and has developed into a wonderful, well-mannered young lady. We are very proud of her and proud of our decision to move her to this school. Read less

Read more the public school system here - I base my opinion on talking to these teachers and asking public school parents where their child is at) I graduated from a local Christian school and feel it has made a tremedous difference in my life. Although there aren't many extracurricular activities, my son loves playing on the basketball team and has time for other outside activities. After weighing the pros and cons of other schools, I am so happy to have my child attending this fine school. I see a positive improvement in his attitude and self-esteem. Read less

My son is 13 in the seventh grade at Trinity. The school has a small hometown family atmosphere and the administration and teachers are very concerned about quality and behavior of each student. I have heard rumors through the years that the education is substandard and knowing graduates from the private schools in Greenville (including two of my own sisters) I find this to be just a rumor. While there is more offered at the public schools, the quality is fine at all of the them. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
