I graduated from this school in 1995 and my husband graduated a few years later. We are now proudly sending our daughter there (this is her 2nd year) and will be sending our son there next year. The teaching atmosphere and Bible based curiculum are outstanding and the teachers are excellent. We highly

My husband and I are both graduates of GCA and only have wonderful memories of this school. We feel blessed to have had the opportunity to have a christian education. When it came time to send our 5 kids to school there was no other choice but GCA. We feel they are getting a fine christian education.

GCA is a wonderful place for my children to grow academically as well as spiritually. The staff is very caring of the students and goes the extra mile to make it a lasting educational experience. I would highly recommend GCA and consider it second to none in our community.

Horrible experience for my children. I had to go back to the public school system due to the way teachers and the principal handled my children. One of the worst educational experiences we have ever had. Cannot recommend this school for anyone!

I withdrew my children due to relocating; however, I would have pulled them out regardless. The school demonstrated weak leadership. My child s teacher was fired because some of the students complained about the work. She was young and full of spirit. I really liked her teaching style and she really

Another teacher was just released based on the same barks. I often wondered who was running the school, the parents or the principle. To make it worst, my 7th grader experienced racial bullying; comments and physical contact was ignored by teachers that witnessed the incidents. They along with the principle were very passive in handling the issues. It was very sad considering it's a Christian School. I expected better. Read less

Parental involvement is almost zero. Uniforms are great except now GCA has two uniform companies- one expensive one and one that is reasonable. Now kids feel like they have to compete with the kids who wear the expensive uniforms. Too many kids are allowed to stay there after repeated acts of bullying

My 2 children attended GCA from K-8. I wish I had pulled them out earlier. Their memories of attending GCA are not happy ones. They felt left out of the 'cliques' because we were not wealthy and did not attend People's Baptist Temple. Having taught in a private, Christian school in another town,
... Read more I knew I wanted Christian education for my children. I was disappointed at GCA's rigid doctrination of children into the Baptist philosophy. There was no room for children of different faiths, Protestant faiths, to exercise or speak of their beliefs without being reprimanded. GCA also did not allow parental involvement, an issue I always felt confused and frustrated with. No PTA was allowed. No input whatsoever was welcome from parents. GCA has the potential of being the very best school in town. But, they shoot themselves in the foot by being cold, aloof, and narrow-minded. Read less
