Poor leadership in the prinicpal. The teachers have been good. Not a friendly school, don't feel welcomed when entering. The assistant principals seem great except for the older gentleman. My daughter says their is gang activity in the school. Very crowded at lunch, 2200 students at lunch at one ...  Read more

I am the parent of a rising 12th grader and a rising 9th grader at PCHS. My son has had a positive experience. There is time for lunch or study, research, clubs, tests, tutoring, homework, make-up work, or just visiting during Smart Lunch, allowing time for athletics after school, so it is a great program. ...  Read more

My son has had wonderful, interested teachers at PCHS since its opening. His is the first graduating class but there have been no parent meetings with administrators as to how to make this a special event. Parents want to be involved and the school could be so much better if they would allow parents ...  Read more

The administration has hired excellent teachers. I don't agree with the poster talking about high turn-over. Because the school grew from a 2 class school to a 4 class school, my children have actually been taught by some of the same teachers. The teachers they loved are still there, except one. ...  Read more

I agree that it is great chool but I really wonder if the teachers are teaching, specially honors and AP classes. They think students can study on their own and doen't need teaching or HW I wish they teach in class and give them HW.

Great school. Proud to have my child there. She is excelling beyond expectation. The over crowding issue is really getting old people. We all know it is a problem that is being dealt with as readily as possible. There is no one to blame for this and it is a temporary problem. As far as the fortress ...  Read more

The school is overcrowded. The administration is overwhelmed and is having a problem coping with the difficult situation. The non-honors' classes contains disruptive students which makes for a difficult learning environment. I would not recommend sending your child to this school unless the student is ...  Read more

The teachers are excellent and hold the students to a high standard (I actually think the classes are more rigorous than at near by, higher rated Green Hope) The administration is not so great and the school has a fortress like atmosphere--I never feel welcomed when I come into the school. The over ...  Read more
