I have two children in Meadowbrook this year. My oldest is in 3rd grade. This school doesn't deserve the low ratings it has gotten in the past. There has been 3 principles since my oldest started kindergarten, and the 2nd one was a former high school principle who wanted to be in a high school. He
... Read more was placed somewhere he did not want to be and the school suffered a little for it that one year he was there. But the new principle relates better with small children, and besides changing the beginning time and ending times I'm happy with him. My 3rd grader's teacher I'm not happy with at all. But My Kindergartner's teachers are excellent as most of them there are! Read less

In my opinion this is one of the best schools that I have ever had the chance to observe. I am very involed with the school and have ate lunch with my daughter every friday since she has started at meadowbrook there has always been plenty enough food even for myself. The teachers can be a little hard
... Read more on the students from time to time but I would rather the teacher be a little hard on the sudent instead of letting them slide through the cracks. As for the principal its just going to take some time for him to warm up to the sudents because he is used to an older group of children. The parents that have left negative info need to take a better look at the school before putting it down. To all the staff I will say thankyou for caring about our children so verymuch. Read less

The students are treated like they are attending a millitary academy.Discipline is allways the number 1 priority.The teacher my son has is arogant and disrespectful against parents.It seems that the paycheck is more important than the wellbeing and education of the students.There is no support from the

The academics of this school are fair but no better than any other schools in the western north carolina area! there are no sports programs at all in this school! the manner in which children are picked up in the afternoons are horrible! there are teachers who pass by the cars each day with pad and pencil

Read more asking who you are picking up! anyone just has to know a name and pick up any child! to me this is dangerous! the principal is quite arrogant and will not take the time to personally sign a childs academic certificate! our child is always complaining about not getting enough food to eat, the servings are so small! my opinion of this school is that it does not live up to it's claim of excellence! Advanced Placement
