My daughter had a horrible experience at this school, and so did I. Now that my daughter is thriving in public school, I realize that the family's resources can be better spent elsewhere.

The 2008-2009 school year just ended and what a terrific year we had! I've read the other posts and like all schools (public or private) there is not a perfect place. My experience with admin and teachers has been very positive. I think the teachers are wonderful, but if anything, wish they were more

We rate BCA a 5 according to our personal experience this School has been outstanding for our Son who at an early age was diagnosed with a minor learning disability. My son has been in BCA for 8 years, and I couldn't imagine him being anywhere else. BCA is a fabulous school. Some of the teachers are a little too strict, but most of them are very nurturing and take the time to explain the reasons behind the discipline. This school will challenge the academically

I see more diversity at BCA than at any other private school in the area. My son has friends at BCA that come from all walks of life. And I haven't experienced the 'cliques' that were referred to by another poster. As every child is different, no doubt every family's experience will be different. But I can say that my personal experience with BCA has been 100% positive. Read less

BCA is a wonderful school that my children have grown to love. I have three so far there and 1 more to start in 2009. Academically, biblically and socially my children have exceled since starting 3 years ago. I have not one bad thing that I can say about any teacher my children have had. They have

Children here learn to work for what they have and they work hard. Yes, there are fund-raisers, auctions and constant functions but they are a private school and are given no grants by the state so it is up to us parents to help keep the school up and running. My kids are worth the extra effort. Again, a great school. Read less

The culture is very Christian. The monthly tuition is currently approximately $482. Before and after school care are about $162. Monthly lunch and milk are about $55. The teachers are very kind, but they do not have the kind 'credentials' and 'screening' of teachers that you would expect from a public school teacher. In some cases, the teachers are extraordinary. In some cases, the teacher is a glorified babysitter that could stand to be easily replaced. The demographic is median to high income, mainly 'elite' southern folk. The culture of the children is very clique'ish and does not prepare them for the diversity that they can expect in the real world. Everyone has a cell phone, gameboy and the latest fashions.
