I, as many parents, anticipated my child's entry into the academic world with excitment. I couldn't wait to see what my child would be. Would she be a social butterfly? Would she be shy? Would she be scholarly? I had no idea that entering Parkway school would mean that I would lose my child to a

Learning should be fun and I am all for helping children with homework but this is getting ridiculous, not to mention costly.
... Read more I ask my children what the class did in school and I hear about parties for this and that. Parent accountability is one thing but working on projects that can easily be done in class is another. Cut down on the parties and spend that time on class work so parents can spend the limited time they have with their kids on more than just homework or projects. Some times we just want to have time to go out and play or sit and talk. Read less

Being that my daughter transfered from a smaller school before attending Parkway, we noticed that the children in her grade level are not as friendly and there is some bullying, which was not the case at the smaller school. I think the school is too big, so in turn causes teachers not to be able to recognize
