... Read more do, and most of them live on campus. You can always find them for help - and if the teachers live off campus, they're usually always by their computers to answer e-mails. I've never met a more energetic group of faculty than those at the Asheville School. They teach the students education, discipline and respect. You'll learn how to live and deal with other people (if you're a boarder). It's also a very diverse school, especially for its size. With loads of international students and a great deal of african americans. I can guarantee you one thing: you'll never be bored! Read less

Our daughter is in her junior year at Asheville School. Since she entered as a freshman, she has truly blossomed in so many ways. We are parents of a fourth form student at Asheville School, and couldn't be more pleased! ... Read more unique among boarding schools - the student body is remarkably 'clique free' and there is a refreshing mutual accountability among peers. Students are engaged in a wide range of activities, from athletics to arts, mountaineering to school clubs. My husband and I think Asheville School is the best kept secret in the southeast! Read less

Unbelieveable education. This school has transformed my child from shy and reserved to confident and outgoing. Our twins sons graduated in 05, entered college as sophomores because the school's academic strength allowed them to achieve AP credits. Their first love was wrestling and their hard work combined with the school's support enabled them to be a state champion and the other a runner up. Asheville School

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
