We are unhappy with this school. The front office staff wasn't informative or welcoming. The teachers my daughter has dealt with have unfairly reprimanded her or didn't meet the needs of my daughter. I agree with the other post, they seem to focus more on discipline than teaching. Silent lunches

Hmmm, where to begin. I have been involved with this school for one year. The school leadership is weak which creates many problems. The office staff are a barrier denying access to the principal or other potentially helpful administrators. As previously mentioned, they treat parents as if we are
... Read more ignorant or bothersome. The two teachers my daughter has had have been great. I see and hear of many wonderful and dedicated teachers. I definitely get the feeling that keeping the kids 'under control' is a huge focus here. The school has had several principal changes in the past few years and is in the process again at this time. The entire school system reassigns kids every year. The sum total of all of this constant change is a weak school with a remnant of a PTA that struggles to recreate itself every year. Read less

My children like the school and are progressing well. Most of the teacher's are great. We find some of the administrative staff to be rather cold. We will be completing our 1st year at WLES and it has been a great experience. Our teachers try to really get the parents involved as much as they can in the classroom and we are well informed on what's happening, with old and new curriculum.
