The teaching staff at Darby Schools continues to be excellent. The community passed a mill levy in recent weeks, proving their support for what these talented individuals are doing. ... Read more with Darby's test scores the highest in our district. Areas that continue to need improvement are the high administrative salaries. The teachers salaries should come first. Also, the discipline policy is very good. Especially the anti-drug policy. However, enforcement is inconsistent. Especially concerning the dress code. Female students frequently dress in violation of the dress code and male staff seem to have a problem addressing this. Our volunteer base is outstanding. Our PTA continues to bring parents together and provide a voice to and for the community! I will continue to enroll my children and remain an extremely satisfied parent. Go Tigers! Read less

Darby High School always has been, and always will be, a fantastic school. For the size of the town in which it is in, there are a wide variety of classes offered, including college prep classes. ... Read more as with any small town mentality, progress is not always welcome and the school suffers due to lack of funding. Education opportunities, in any environment, are only as good as the involvement of the society in which they present themselves. Unfortunately, ignorance abounds due to no fault of the school itself. Each and every child at Darby High School is offered an excellent education. Darby has been a great school up until now. With all this origin crap out there. It is threaten this school. Why did they have to bring that to Darby. We had a great school people willing to do anything for anyone. Now I feel if this goes thur I will have to transport my children to Hamilton which

* In 2006-2007 Montana used the Criterion-Referenced Test (CRT) to assess students in grades 3 though 8 and 10 in reading and math. The CRT is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Montana. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
