i dont' like it but only because my parents are forcing me to go there, there are only 12 freshmans. it does seem like a better learning environment. more 1 on 1 between the teacher and the pupil. and plus there are many activities to be involved in. the headmaster it very nice, along with the teachers.

I am an alumni of TIL and do plan to send my children there. The education I received helped me to get a scholarship to college and the small class size fostered an excellent learning environment. TIL has made significant strides to increase the availability and quality of its offerings. A new 3 & 4 year old Pre-k program has been added. Also, after school care has been included for a very modest fee. All of the facilities have been renovated for the fall of 2006. The first Advanced Placement

If you are looking for a small Christian based education that provides a safe environment for your child, you should atleast consider TIL. My children have excelled at TIL and the individualized attention each child gets is impressive. Read less

The headmaster of TIL is very disorganized and is sarcastic with his teachers, staff, and students. Little emphasis is placed on academics; most of the emphasis is on athletics. I took my child out of TIL because she was getting only a mediocre education. The buildings are in dire need of renovation
... Read more and the technology and laboratories are in a very poor state. The library is archaic and does not have up-to-date books. I would never advise anyone to send his or her child to TIL. I was most disappointed by the headmaster; he gives very little support to his teachers when disciplinary problems arise. Read less

I went to TIL from 2nd grade through graduation. There was nothing in that school to prepare me for a future at college. As far as sports, that place excels but music and art..only if you are in elementary. I would have loved to have taken music classes in high school but they werent even offered.

I have found that TIL is focused primarily around sports and extracurricular activities. I have also found that the quality of academics is severely lacking in what an independent college-preparatory school should have. I think that they concentrate mostly on sports and extracurricular activities,

Quality of acedemic programs is lacking in my opinion, no votech classes (no art or music classes in high school either.) for the amount of money it costs to attend, it would be cheaper/more educational to go to a local public school.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
