Read more most AR ( advanced reading ) points for the entire 6th grade...625 Points, for only 3 months of school, he tested for TAGS ( talented and gifted ) and made it, he enjoys doing projects, and even completes the most of his homework without supervision. Now into 7th grade, they've dived the classes, all boys, all girls, or co-ed, he's in the all boy class I love it! no distractions...If ya know what I mean, they've incorporated The Apprentice into class so now they work as a group. Strayhorn has great teachers and a great principal. They really care about the kids and make learning a top priority. My little girl is in first grade and she loves her school. They also have a high school now.

My children currently attend Strayhorn and I really like it. My oldest has gone since Kindergarten and I have never had any problems, he is now in 5th grade. My only concern is that it only goes to the 8th grade afterwhich they are bused to Coldwater, which is horrible!

Advanced Placement
