With 3 children in CCA, our experiences have been very positive. The staff and administration is always seeking ways of improvement. My oldest once stated that she thought that she had caring, great teachers in public school until she came to CCA. The only thing that needs improvement is seeking scholarships

I attended this school from 7th grade to graduation. Although it had some shortcomings when it came to extracurricular acctivities, the learning environment was far superior to what I experienced in Mississippi public schools.

... Read more to remove the 'Public School' influence and maintain a high moral code is of utmost importance to me as a parent. I also like the qualifications of the high school teachers. Not only do they have vast backgrounds in the technology fields, but have wonderful Christian character. For an approximate 300 enrollment, there is the downside of which includes smaller athletic advantage, and music achievements. CCA is a wonderful school. I would not have my kids at any other. I have a son and a daughter there and they are in 1st and 2nd grade. They have been there since K-3 and K-4. I plan for them to graduate from CCA. CCA is now accredited and public schools have to recognize credits from CCA. I graduated

I enrolled my son there for K3 and was extremely satisfied. He had a wonderful caring teacher and learned so much in that 10 months. He looked forward to going to school everyday.I took him out due to financial constraints and regretted every moment of it. Even my son kept asking me why I took him out.

I was a student at Christian Collegiate Academy, and I must say that CCA falls short of the academic expectations of the vast majority of what colleges look for in a student: outstanding academic and heavy course loads, extra-curricular activities, and the competence to perform in society. ... Read more is extremely small and tends to shelter the child from the world around him by not exposing him to certain aspects of a well-rounded education. While this school claims to hold a certain amount of extra-curricular activities, they foil in comparison to other high schools around them. I would not recommend this school to any middle or high school student unless they plan to go into the ministry field or just receive a high school diploma for minimal effort who plans to attend a public university, as the curriculum and the overall private school experience does not cater to the academic needs for college pre-requisites. I would not reccomend this school for any student that is going into high school. The school is not accredited by the Mississippi Association of Public Schools. The credits will not carry over if you decide to put your child back in a public school.

This school is wonderful , the kindergarden class is the best I ever seen. The teacher is just wonderful she is cares of each student and there progess, and teaches the students all subjects not just play. This is excellent place to start a child.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
