I attended Ackerman Elementary School as a child and swore I would never, ever have my own child attend it. Unfortunately, things happened and he is now attending AES. Besides Mr. Blaine, everything about AES remains the same. I will not say all of the teachers are there strictly for the money, but

My childs teacher never smiles, shows no love for the children and pretty much gave up on my son a long time ago. The principal of this school is a Godsend! He's great with the kids and the adults, and we just couldn't have asked for better.

My family moves often with work(or we did). This is the seventh school that we have attended and it is absolutely fantastic. The teachers are always willing to work with the parents on anything, and the administration is outgoing, fair, and always looking for ways to bring in the community. The school
