this is one of the best schools in the state i think. any one can find a place to fit in here at warsaw. for those that say the school and teachers play favorites, i say they have no clue as to what they are talking about. usually they are the type of parent that belives that their chil can do no harm

Read more and is a perfect angle. they really need to wake up. there are so many things to do and clubs to join that no kid can really feel left out. the teachers here take great pride in what they do and always are there to help a student in need so they can pass a class or get over a problem they have. this school has a very tight-nit kind of fellowship to it. any one who listens to some of the other critics on here are crazy Read less

I am a student at Warsaw High School and think that we have an excellent high school. Warsaw's MAP scores in English have put us in the top ten of all schools in Missouri. I will admit that we have our problems but there are plenty of other good qualities about our school. Our technology department
... Read more has recieved grants from the state totaling tens of thousands of dollars for new computers and equipment. We have two smart boards, multiple high quality digital cameras, and even palm pilots which are used by students as an introduction to technology. We also have an excellent music program. This year at district contest both the band and choir recieved one ratings. I love my high school and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Go Wildcats! Read less

I'm a student at Warsaw High School, and I am able to see and know the things that go on. Not just rummors. Teachers don't play favorites in grading, everyone gets a fair chance at the grades they earn! Teachers might have a closer relationship with a student, but that student is in no way given any
... Read more better treatment than any other student in the class. Students get treated according to how they treat the teachers. You treat them with respect, you get respect in return. If you are rude, you will be treated like a problem student. What is not fair about that? Sure our school has some problems, what school doesn't? We have people in that school that work their butts off so that we have the best experiences that we possibly can as well as good education. How we do in school is our choice! Read less

I agree that the teachers paly favortes in this school. If your child is not considered 'popular' then the teachers grade them lower than those that are. If you or your child are friends with a staff member of a member of the schhool board then they get treated different and are able to get away with

I do not agree with a lot that is said in the reviews of WHS. Warsaw consistently scores well on state tests and ACT. The faculty that I've had contact with are very helpful and concerned about kids. I really think if people are going to bad mouth the school the least they can do is learn to spell. That may be one reason they haven't got good things to say. If students want to succeed they have the opportunity at WHS. WHS graduates have gone to Harvard, Stanford, and Washington University. There are doctors and lawyers and highly paid professionals who are graduates. There are also inmates. Kids make choices. Read less

Advanced Placement
