South East Elementary has been a blessing for our daughter. Her teacher Mrs. Laws is so patient and kind. Our daughter loves to go to school. We feel very positive about this school and hope the next elementary school is just as good. Thanks for the warm welcome to South East.

SE Elementary (kindergarten-only school) has exceeded our every wish for our little girl. Her teacher, Mrs. Wright, is enthusiastic and energetic and a joy to communicate with each time. ... Read more etc.) are enforced at every turn. It is stressed to the children by the staff that good choices are important. The kiddos are taught to consider options and the possible ramifications of each PRIOR to making their choices. It's a very solid program. Parents are allowed to participate in almost all activities and that is something I genuinely appreciate. We had 'Polar Express' night last night and that was a LOT of fun for everyone involved. I'm always looking forward to the notes our little Bug brings home to see what's next! And where else can you get breakfast with your kid for $1.00?! Read less

Beware if your child is anything other than a conformist and a perfect angel. I have had mutiple children attend SouthEast. The principal, faculty, and staff made it extremely difficult to help meet my children's needs. The district's representative at the time was not helpful and repeated over and
... Read more over that he had to back the school. They are unwilling to work with parents to find a positive solution to individual children's needs. We now have a new person representing the district, although the principal is the same. I have another child entering kindergarten this year and I am curious to see if things will get better. My son started kindergraten here. He loved school and got up every morning happy about going to school. Never had anything negative to say. The principal and the teaching staff were great. ... Read more staff handles it is one of there greatest qualities. They encourage and help the other children embrace an understand the different cultures around them. By doing this all the children are shown how each of them are a important part of the class. From the first week of school it seemed that, the staff tried to know all the children by name. And greeted them first thing in the morning with a postive smile and greeting. The teacher he had (Mrs Schwartz) was firm but understanding with him. He loved school because of how she made it fun to learn. Unfortunely my job took us from the area. Thank you Southeast for giving my son a positive first out look on school. Read less

Advanced Placement
